BACON Digital is our new department for visual FX and web based entertainment.

Commercials and music promos has become so depending on visual FX that we felt it was time to found an in-house division that could work closely with the directors, not only in the production, but also in bidding and treating the different jobs that comes to a shop like BACON. The only person we wanted as head of this division was our favorite FX artist Jonas Drehn… so we asked him politely to sell his own FX Company and come and join us in our humble surroundings – and somehow he said yes. So today, BACON and Digital is a fully integrated unit that works together on projects including any means of digital FX work – from the initial birdie idea to the full campaign in question.

BACON Digital also functions as the department handling everything “interactive”. (Preferably the online side of our film projects – we are really good together). Basically there are no limits to what we do  - as long as it lives (and occasionally dies) in and around a computer.

We consider ourselves being in the entertainment industry – not in computer sciences. It might sound obvious, but it helps keep our focus at what we do be best – tell stories and entertain people based on good ideas – and not just focus at “la technique de jour”.
