Interactive@bacon:

Over the last couple of years we have been scouting for talent that could help us establish an interactive part of Bacon. The hunt is finally over. We’ve found the people we want to share our future with.

We met about a year ago and instantly realized that we had one thing in common. Disillusion over working together.

The experiences we had from handing over our footage to interactive people who then tried to squeeze an interactive experience out of material shot for classic storytelling were frustrating.

We, as the film people, were never pleased with the outcome, especially because it was so obvious that our footage didn’t really work in an interactive context, whereas the interactive people were equally frustrated with our footage because it left them with very few opportunities to develop anything but a vague online version of the TVC we had shot.

But talking to the other side of the table made all of us smarter. We quickly figured out that integrating interactive in both preproduction and production is the recipe to succeed. It’s that simple. But simple doesn’t always win.

We decided to try out a project together to see what difference it could make if we were all an initial part. The job came from Nokia and Naked Communications. The task was to launch the new Nokia Lumia 900 series. We went in it together and came out with a lot of experience and a successful campaign (not to mention an award at the dia and a shortlist in FB )

After evaluating the process we decided to continue our collaboration and turn it into a proper relationship. So here we are, and we are very proud to introduce the two new units on our roster; “Relax we are the Good Guys” (Aka Stine Hein & Felix Nielsen) and “I am Pelle” (Aka Pelle Martin)

They are all seriously talented (and nice) people with a strong and impressive background in the interactive field.

They have been around the globe and worked with some of the best agencies and interesting brands.

They work just as our “old school” directors. Send them a project, and they will figure out how to bring it to life and turn it into a stellar campaign preferably together with one of our film directors and our VFX guys at Bacon X – lovely combo if you ask us.
